Description: From an odd yet amazingly well-preserved children's book from the 1890s. I tried to keep the images in order, starting with the bachelor frog in his bog in the top left corner, and ending with a bow from the main players in the bottom right. The froggie falls in love with a mouse, courts her, and then they get married. In the end, however, the cat shows up with her kittens to eat the mouse and rat friend. The frog runs away, only to be eaten by a swan. As I said, kind of odd, but I love the images.
